The Clear View Designs Zero

We have a simple proposition:

The purpose of an instrument amplifier is to make the sound louder, so that your audience can here it better.

It is not to distort the sound, to change the color or tone.
It is not there to impress your audience with its bulk.
It is not there to help you build chest and arm strength.

The Clear View Designs Zero is a radical concept designed to be as much like "plugging into the board" as possible. Our goals are:

  • Superb Sound at any volume
  • Light weight
  • Rugged Engineering

So, how do you make our amp sound like Hendrix at the Isle of Man, or Santana at Woodstock, or Joe Pass at the Blue Note? The Zero includes a 2U rack mount to install the multi-effects rack and/or preamp of your choice. An optional valve preamp replicates the drive and breakup of the classic amps of the past. Use your speaker simulation or ours to sound like a close-miked 15" speaker or a box full of 10" drivers.
